Dr Jun Li is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering atUniversityofStrathclydesince June 2015. He received his PhD degree from the KTH-Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) in 2014, and then continued his research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Glasgow (UK). Dr Li has expertise in CFD modelling of ignition and flame properties, multiphase interactions, reacting progress, heat transfer, and emissions;as well as experimental expertisein characterisation ofsolid fuels on its kinetics and thermal performances at high temperatures and high heating rates. Dr Li has authored 20 peer-reviewed papers in leading energy journals, 8 peer-reviewed conference papers, and 1 book chapter, overall 206 citations and H-index of 10 (Scopus). Dr Li has been invited for 8 talks in conferences/workshops and worldwide institutions,as well as 2 training lectures for industries (i.e. Doosan Babcock-UK, Industry Combustion System-Poland). He holds Academic Member of the International Flame Research Foundation (since 2012), Combustion Institution (since 2014), Energy Technology Partnership Bioenergy Theme and Heat Theme (since 2016). In early 2017, Dr Li was nominated as candidate of the best young academic in combustion filed in theUKfor Hinshelwood Prize from Combustion Institution (British Section). Currently, Dr Li leads a research group, including 2 PhD and 3 MSc students.
